A Night of Magic: Students Dazzle in Musical Extravaganza

Held at The Palmer Tomkinson Centre in Birstall, the show was a vibrant mix of singing, acting, dancing and live music – featuring a student band with guitars, bass and drums – and ran across two magical nights, welcoming around 300 spectators.

Open to all students, preparations for this extravaganza began in September, with performers dedicating many hours to practising, both inside and outside of school.

The result was a professional and highly polished performance featuring sensational singing, dazzling dancing and amazing acting, all ably supported by a wonderful backstage crew who created props and managed the scene changes seamlessly.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the full-cast performance of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ which brought the house down with its energy and excitement. Year 9 student Grace also delivered a spine-tingling rendition of ‘Only the Good Die Young,’ leaving the audience in awe.

This event not only showcased the students' commitment, confidence, teamwork, and resilience but also created lifelong memories for everyone involved.
