Hire our facilities

As part of Lionheart Venues, we are part of a group of contemporary multi-use facilities available for hire throughout Leicestershire. The Lionheart Educational Trust schools have successfully hosted many memorable occasions, events and activities over the years.

ECO EXCELLENCE

September 04, 2024

Each year, students in the Sir Jonathan North Eco Club complete an audit of the college and choose three categories to work on. Last year, they selected school grounds, water, and healthy living, organising projects in each category. For the school grounds, students worked with the Leicester City Eco-Schools team on the WWF Wildlife Friendly School project. GCSE Results Day 2024

Students shone in the key core subjects – English Language and Mathematics – with well over half the cohort (56.1%) achieved a grade 9 – 5; a huge 71.3% also achieved between grade 9 – 4. Elsewhere, those undertaking Product Design and Technology courses dazzled, with 72.2% of students achieving a grade 6 or above! MFL Spelling Champions

Taking on other secondary schools within the Trust, our talented linguists had to learn a list of 150 words – either in French or Spanish. Then, in intense one-minute rounds, they were tested on these words, translating them from English into their chosen language, ensuring they were spelt correctly.
