Rugby Masterclass

The girls – who are all regular attendees at our rugby after school club, which is also run by the Tigers – enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the game, develop their skills and build upon their tactics and understanding.

They were also able to socialise with students from other schools across the county and even had the opportunity to meet Meg Jones, a Fly-Half for the Women’s First Team.

It was a fantastic event and one that inspired our students persist with their new-found enthusiasm for rugby.

Opportunities like these are only possible because of the fantastic partnership forged between the Leicester Tigers and Lionheart Educational Trust. The collaboration allows our students to delve deeper into their passions, explore new interests and broaden their horizons.
